Abstract

A free event hosted by the Astronomy students at TAMU, I’ll be talking about Charles Messier and the objects in his catalog and why he was so compelled to write them all down. I’ll also walk you through a few of these objects and what we know about them. Finally, I’ll give some pointers if you want to complete your own Messier Marathon!
