This past year has not been a good year for postdocs. We’ve faced federal funding cuts, a harsh job market, and many of us have faced looming immigration and visa issues. Yet, through all of that, this community of researchers, teachers, mentors, and leaders has remained resilient. There’s still many challenges ahead of postdocs, but there’s many things to be celebrated as well. This is my address to the 2026 General Assembly of the Texas A&M University Postdoctoral Association.
