The 2024 Great American Solar Eclipse

Abstract

Join the Friends of Chamber Music and the Bravos Valley Astronomy Club to observe and celebrate the 2024 Great American Solar Eclipse. Here in College Station, the eclipse will reach 98.3% of totality. We will hear a talk by Ray Garner about the science behind solar eclipses, as well as an original musical composition by David Wilborn commissioned for the eclipse. Telescopes, eclipse glasses, and expert astronomers will be there!
